This summer, skip the airfare and gas up the sedan. Grab the family and head out on a great American road trip. Wear Your From is showing you three show-stoppers to leave you breathless. The only rule: take it slow. To fully enjoy all that nature offers on these stunning journeys you’ll want to stop often. Speak with the locals (or fellow awe-struck travelers), take some side roads and consider getting lost.
1. Columbia River Scenic Highway – Oregon
This highway wasn’t built as a throughway for vehicles, but rather to showcase Oregon’s most scenic views. It’s famous for waterfalls, mountain views and truly breathtaking landscapes. Add this Oregon highway to the top of your bucket list. The team at Wear Your From has already added it to next Summer’s calendar.
2. Arches National Park Scenic Drive, Utah
With roots in the Pacific Northwest and Southern Utah, it’s no wonder our road trips are centered on some of our favorite locales. The United States is full of impressive scenery, probably more so than any other country. Take advantage of it by visiting Arches National Park in Moab, UT. The red rocks rise out of the otherwise flat landscape to create a stunning effect.
3. Olympic Peninsula Loop, Washington
This is one of those drives you never forget. Winding through the Hoh River Rainforest is ancient spruce and hemlock trees on one side of the road. The other side is dominated by Olympic beaches and the San Juan Islands. Highway 101 is the only road in this designated road-free terrain and it doesn’t disappoint.
